Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facilities

The College provides excellent hostel facilities for boys and girls separately. Spacious rooms equipped with modular furniture and ample moving space inside and outside the rooms. The lush green fields outside the hostels provide a serene environment to study well. Facilities in the Hostels have been made such that students feel more comfortable and do not feel away from home.

  • A good pantry supplying hygienic and delicious food.
  • Medical facility available with free medicines provided to sick students.
  • Mineral water provided to all the rooms.
  • Laundry and ironing facilities available in the hostels.
  • Recreational facilities Television, Indoor and Outdoor games rejuvenate the students.

Rules and Regulations

The following rules and regulations shall be strictly adhered to in respect of hostels and mess.

  • Reading hours prescribed shall be strictly adhered to by all the hostel students.
  • Properties of the hostels and mess should not be damaged. If damaged, appropriate fine will be imposed on the students responsible for such damages.
  • The hostel students who go outside the college campus with permission of the warden should enter in the Movement Register, their names, name of the destination, time of departure and return without fail.
  • Water tap, lights and fans of the hostels should be kept turned off during class hours.
  • If students fall ill, they should inform to the Warden/Deputy Warden, so as to make necessary arrangements for their treatment.
  • Hostel students should keep safe their personal belongings and valuable items viz. mobile phone, camera, jewels, cash, etc. under lock and key. Warden or any official shall not be held responsible to any loss of the above items.
  • Mobile Phones should be used during the timings instructed by the Warden.
  • During class hours, no hostel student shall visit the hostel without the permission of the Warden.
  • The hostel students should not allow any day scholar or outsider into the hostel without the permission of the Warden.
  • Hostel students are not permitted to bring their personal items like pickle, chutney and other eatables to the dining hall. Students are expected to have their meals between the prescribed hours only. No late comers are entertained. The hostellers shall practice good behavior come in proper dress to the dining room and maintain the decorum of decent dress code at all the times.
  • Students are not permitted to stick posters/ formula/pictures of any type (including God and Goddess) / painting / drawing or writing on the hostel walls.
  • Students are not permitted to use tape-recorder with speakers. If found they will be impounded by Deputy Warden or HOD.
  • The inmates of the hostel are not permitted to use two wheelers. Any inmate violate this will be expelled from the hostel without Notice immediately.
  • Consumption of liquors and narcotics, and smoking inside the College campus are strictly prohibited.
  • Hostel rules, instructions of wardens and hostel authorities have to be strictly obeyed.
