PIE Tech Admission

PIE Tech is approved by AICTE-New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University. The admission norms applicable for getting admission through Single Window System after passing +2, is followed. However students can approach for admission through management quota. The TNEA Counselling Code is 2354.

Single Window System of admission

Apply in Person

Candidates can obtain the application form in person from the government recognized centers as per the advertisement that will be given once the +2 results have been declared by paying the respective fee (for SC/ST students on production of a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card) towards application fee, by cash/demand draft. Fill up the form and send it to the DOTE office. According to the cutoff marks you will be given a date for Single Window Counseling. On that day if seats are available in the college you can choose our college.

Apply by Post

Application forms can also be obtained by post from The Secretary, Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University, Chennai - 600 025 by sending a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for the respective fee (for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu with a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card) and an address label written in capital letters to which the application form is to be mailed. Fill up the form and send it to the DOTE office. According to the cutoff marks you will be given a date for Single Window Counseling. On that day if seats are available in the college you can choose our college.

Eligibility for TNEA

General Minimum average of 50% and above in Maths, Physics and Chemistry Minimum average of 45% and above in Maths, Physics and Chemistry
BC / BC (Muslims) Minimum average of 40% and above in Maths, Physics and Chemistry Minimum average of 40% and above in the related subject, Vocational theory Subject and practicals.
MBC & DNC Minimum average 40% and above in Maths, Physics and Chemistry Minimum average of 40% and above in the related subject, Vocational theory Subject and practicals.
SC/SCA/ST Minimum average of 40% in the qualifying Examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry Minimum average of 40% and above in the related subject, Vocational theory Subject and practicals.

2. Nativity: Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu

  • Those who studied VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. in Tamil Nadu, need not enclose the Nativity Certificate.
  • Those who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent Examination from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu, should enclose a copy of the 'Nativity Certificate' with the application for considering them as candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu. Applications without proper Nativity Certificate will not be considered.

3. Srilankan Tamil Refugee candidates

Srilankan Tamil Refugee candidates studying in Tamil Nadu will be considered under open competition as per G.O. (St) No. 172 Higher Education (J2) Dept. dated: 29.06.2010. They have to enclose the following

  • Identification from Head Quarters Tahsildar
  • Those who have not registered in the refugee camp, they should submit passport and visa. 3.2
